Taxes : Getting Your Income Tax Records

How can I get a copy of my income tax records?

If you did not file federal income tax returns for the past two years OR if you did file, but did not keep copies, it is easy to get the records you need.

See the Tax Records Informational Brochure for more information.

You also can request a transcript by calling the IRS toll free at 1-800–829–1040.

See also the Forms & Education tab in this section for more information.
