What is the minimum wage in Ohio?

For employees who are in positions that are not "tipped", the minimum wage in Ohio, according to the US Department of Labor, is $7.30 per hour.

For employees in positions that are "tipped", such as restaurant workers, the minimum wage in Ohio is $3.65 per hour.

What is the going rate of overtime pay?

Employers who gross more than $ 150,000 in revenue per year required by law to pay one-and-one half times the regular hourly rate of pay. Employers who gross less than $ 150,000 in revenue per year are not required to pay overtime.
