What is a traffic violation?

Traffic violations are most often categorized as misdemeanors and include moving violations such as speeding, running a red light, or doing an illegal u turn.

Do I have to go to traffic court?

If you are cited for a moving violation, you may be required to appear in traffic court.

What are the traffic rules in Ohio?

The Ohio Department of Motor Vehicles maintains all Ohio traffic rules.

Does civil legal aid help people with traffic violations?

No, traffic violations are not handled by civil legal aid or Ohio Legal Services.
