Welcome to the Domestic Violence Resource Center!
This site provides information on domestic violence and stalking, including information on the law and community resources available to help you stay safe, and complete the court papers necessary to get legal protection.

Find an emergency shelter if you are a victim of domestic violence.
If you are in an emergency situation, call 911. If you do not find your county or city listed below, please contact the Ohio Domestic Violence Network (ODVN) at 800-934-9840 during the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a referral to an agency that can best serve you. If you need to contact an advocate immediately and not during their regular business hours, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline, 24 hours a day, at 800-799-7233.


Prepare the Forms to Get Court Protection From Domestic Violence or Stalking

  • If you or a family member are being physically abused or threatened with harm by a family or household member (person living in your home, even if not related to you by marriage or blood) you can apply for a Domestic Violence Civil Protection Order. Click here to complete this form.
  • If you or a family member fear for your safety because you are being threatened with harm, followed, or harassed by a person (relative or stranger), you can apply for a Domestic Violence Stalking Protection Order. Click here to complete this form.
  • If you are an advocate who is assisting an individual who is a victim of domestic violence or staking, click here to complete this form.
